　　①Small gap

　　 The current stone mosaics are generally computer graphics, waterjet cutting, the technology is very advanced, and the error is very low. Often after the assembly is completed, the gap is less than 0.1mm. It is very difficult to repair glue in such a small gap.

　　②Complex

　　Computer graphics can design extremely complex mosaics. Although the effect is very beautiful in this way, a small patchwork can be an amazing amount of work for repairing glue. So don't deal with the parquet and quote the price of ordinary projects-it can't be calculated like that.

　　Different from ordinary stone care engineering, the glue repairing treatment of stone mosaic has more important significance.

　　①Realize true seamlessness

Although the error of 　　 parquet can be minimized, it must be glued to fill the gaps to form a true overall surface. Play the role of anti-fouling and anti-wear.

　　②Defect repair

　　 In the process of transportation, installation, etc., stone mosaics are prone to some defects in details, which need to be repaired by glue.

　　③Art rendering

　　Some parquet designs need to use the shades of glue to show a better artistic effect. For example, the use of dark glue can produce a segmentation effect and improve the decoration of the mosaic.

2. Construction technology

 

　　 The main difficulty in the processing technology of stone parquet is seamless processing. The difference from general stone care engineering is also seamless processing. Therefore, the problem of seamless processing of stone mosaics is solved, and the subsequent grinding and polishing are the same as general stone care projects.

　　Step 1: The choice of glue

　　Stone patchwork repair glue, marble glue and transparent glue are used. The selected marble glue must meet the following requirements:

　　* It must have good bonding properties.

　　* To have good polishing performance, after grinding and polishing, the gloss should be consistent with the stone.

　　* To be easy to color. The toning performance of marble glue is related to the thickness of the powder contained. If the fineness of the powder of marble glue reaches 300# or more, it will have good toning performance and not easy to change color. Inferior marble glue, the particle size is even below 0#, not easy to color, and easy to lose color.

　　 [Recommended] High-quality marble glue must be used, such as imported marble glue.

　　Step 2: Clear the gap

　　 1. If the gap is less than 0.2mm

　　 For the stone mosaic with very small gaps, the cleaning process is basically not allowed to be operated by machinery. If equipment such as portable cutting machines and seam cleaning sheets are used, on the one hand, it is easy to cause gap cutting and enlargement; on the other hand, it will generate high heat, leading to problems such as chipping and destroying the overall decorative effect.

　　 The correct way:

　　 Manual cleaning. Use Seiko blade, which is very thin. In some places, even thinner razor blades are needed for cleaning. When cleaning the seams, the speed should be slow to avoid damage to the details of the mosaic. After cleaning the gap, use a high-power vacuum cleaner to suck away the dust in the gap.

 

　　2, if the gap>0.2mm

 

　　 The parquet area is very large. When the gap is relatively large, you can choose to use the "portable cutting machine + 0.2mm seam cleaning sheet" for cleaning. The depth of the seam cleaning should be more than 3mm, the deeper the overall structure strength is.

  Precautions:

　　* When cleaning the seams, be sure to maintain the original appearance of the stone and do not widen the seams.

　　* Don't cut over at the end of the gap.

 

　　*Don't cut string seams-don't accidentally skewed out when cleaning along a seam.

　　* During the cleaning process, the seam cleaning sheet must be kept 90 degrees perpendicular to the stone, otherwise the stone may collapse.

　　【Note】Stone mosaic is a very delicate artwork. The above precautions are intended to prevent damage to the overall decorative effect. For example, over-cutting or stringing seams during seam cleaning is unsightly and affects the decorative effect.

　　Step 3: Adjust glue

　　1, standard

　　 Adjust the color of the glue to the height of the stone.

　　2, method

　　 Use marble glue + water glue or transparent glue, keep stirring, and make the glue thinner. The reason is that the gaps in the parquet are very small and cannot be widened. The fluidity of the glue must be enhanced to effectively penetrate.

　　3, skills and precautions

　　①Add natural toner

　　When adjusting the color of the glue, you can add natural inorganic color powder, such as stone powder, which is a substance extracted from natural minerals, according to your needs, which can achieve an effect very close to the color of stone. It is not recommended to add organic pigments, because the color of artificial pigments is relatively pure and cannot simulate natural stone with natural color.

 

　　②Choose skilled workers

 

　　 It is necessary to choose workers who are skilled in operation, strong in color discrimination, and have a high degree of responsibility and patience, and operate with the attitude of treating artworks. In order to truly achieve perfect results.

　　③Sufficient light

　　When adjusting the glue, try to do it in the daytime and under sufficient light conditions to help distinguish the color.

　　④Compare sufficiently

　　When adjusting the glue, it is necessary to constantly compare and adjust with the stone until the most satisfactory effect.

　　⑤Adjust glue in batches

　　 The glue needed in the same area should be prepared at one time. Do not adjust the glue multiple times, resulting in different colors.

　　⑥ Choice of batch knife

　　When adjusting the glue, the tool generally used is a knife. The width of the batch knife should not exceed 3 inches. The wider the knife, the more dispersed the force and the insufficient glue uniformity.

　　Step 4: Make up glue

　　①Batch knife

　　A batch knife should be used to fill glue, and the width should not exceed 2 inches. The reason is to prevent excessive dispersion of power, which is not conducive to the penetration of glue.

　　②Blade

　　In the glue filling process, another necessary tool for workers is the blade. The purpose is to find pollution and remove it in time. Otherwise, the pollution left in the gap will cause blackening and degumming.

　　③Shoe covers

　　 In order to prevent dust pollution, construction personnel should wear shoe covers to enter the construction.

　　2, make up the glue operation

　　When repairing glue, use a knife to scrape the adjusted glue across the gap and squeeze it hard. Then scrape off the excess glue vertically along the gap. In a reasonable state, the glue should leave a bulge of 0.2~0.3mm in the gap.

　　On the one hand, it leaves a margin during the drying process of the glue to prevent it from settling out of the groove. On the other hand, after overall grinding, the surface is complete.

　　3, health time

After 　　 is completed, there must be enough time for the glue to dry and solidify.

　　After the glue filling is completed, no one is allowed to walk in the glue filling area within 4 hours.

　　②8 hours

　　After the glue filling is completed, it must be more than 8 hours before the whole grinding can be started.

　　Step 6: Sealing process

　　 Stone mosaic is an exquisite artistic design. In order to maintain a beautiful decorative effect for a long time, and enhance the wear resistance and anti-fouling ability, the glaze sealing technology should be used to effectively protect the surface of the mosaic. The main component of the glaze sealing material is silicon dioxide (same as glass), which can greatly improve the hardness, brightness and clarity of the stone surface, and is the best protection measure for stone mosaics.

　　 Mix the VD stone sealing glaze No. 1 and No. 2 in a ratio of 1:1, and polish it evenly with a crystal surface machine + scouring pad until the light comes out.
